Ama naming makapangyarihan, bigyan mo kami ng paninindigang tumahak sa landas ng kabutihan. Sa pagdating ni Kristo makasalubong nawa kaming may mabubuting gawa upang kapiling niya sa gawing kanan kami ay makapisan sa iyong pinaghaharian sa pamamagitan niya kasama ng Espiritu Santo magpasawalang hanggan.
- Aklat ng Pagmimisa sa Roma

Almighty God, strengthen the resolve of your faithful people to prepare for the coming of your Christ by works of justice and mercy, so that when we go forth to meet him he may call us to sit at his right hand and possess the kingdom of heaven.  We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God for ever and ever.
- Opening Prayer, 1998 ICEL Translation of the Roman Missal

Rend the heavens and come down, O God of all the ages! Rouse us from sleep, deliver us from our heedless ways, and form us into a watchful people, that, at the advent of your Son, he may find us doing what is right, mindful of all you command. Grant this through him whose coming is certain, whose day draws near: your Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God for ever and ever.

For the Solemnity of Jesus Christ, King of the Universe

Almighty and merciful God, you break the power of evil and make all the things new in you Son Jesus Christ, the King of the universe. May all in heaven and earth acclaim your glory and never cease to praise you. We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever.
- Opening Prayer from the 1975 English Translation of the Roman Missal

Father all-powerful, God of love, you have raised our Lord Jesus Christ from death to life, resplendent in glory as King of creation. Open our hearts, free all the worls to rejoice in his peace, to glory in his justice, to live in his love. Bring all mankind together in Jesus Christ your Son, whose kingdom is with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever.
- Alternative Opening Prayer from the 1975 English Translation of the Roman Missal

Almighty and eternal God, you chose to restore all things in Christ your Son, who is king of heaven and earth. Grant that all creation, set free from the bondage of sin and death, may offer homage to your majesty and join in singing your eternal praise. We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God for ever and ever.
- Collect from the 1998 English Translation of the Roman Missal

Almighty and eternal God, to Jesus Christ, the firstborn from the dead, you have granted everlasting dominion and a kingship that shall not pass away. Remove from us every desire for privilege and power, that we may imitate the sacrificial love of Christ our King and, as a royal and priestly people, serve you humbly in our brothers and sisters. Grant this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God for ever and ever.
- Alternative Opening Prayer for Year B of the 1998 English Translation of the Roman Missal

Almighty ever-living God, whose will is to restore all things in your beloved Son, the King of the universe, grant, we pray, that the whole creation, set free from slavery, may render your majesty service and ceaselessly proclaim your praise. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever.
- Collect from the 2010 English Translation of the Roman Missal

Almighty and everlasting God, whose will it is to restore all things in thy well-beloved Son, the King of kings and Lord of lords: Mercifully grant that the peoples of the earth, divided and enslaved by sin, may be freed and brought together under his most gracious rule; who liveth and reigneth with thee and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.
